General Information
Any parent or legal guardian is usually welcome to pitch in and help with the Pack, but in order to serve in an ongoing role you must register as an adult volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America by submitting an adult leader application. Below are some of the roles you could fill to support the cub scouts:
Cubmaster or Assistant Cubmaster
The Cubmaster's most visible duty is the monthly pack meeting but also attends weekly meetings to provide updates to scouts and parents. Behind the scenes, the Cubmaster works with the Committee Members to plan and carry out the Pack Program and help coordinate efforts of each of the Den Leaders. A Cubmaster may be assisted by one or more Assistant Cubmasters.
So You're a New Cubmaster...
Den Leader or Assistant Den Leader
The Den Leader conducts weekly meetings for a smaller group of scouts and helps coordinate the Den's contribution to the monthly pack meeting. A Den Leader is typically assisted by at least one Assistant Den Leader.

Welcome New Webelos Den Leader
Committee Member
The committee works with the Cubmaster to plan and carry out the Pack's program. The Committee also coordinates major events like food drives, fundraising, pinewood derby, holiday events, blue and gold banquets, and also secures support for the Pack. The Committee consists of a Chairperson and other members who may have particular functions, such as Treasurer, Secretary, Advancement, Outdoor Program, etc. Most events need extra adults to help pack leaders.
