Welcome to the Bear Den!

Third Grade

WELCOME TO BEARS!

Our Goals:  In the Bear Den, scouts are required to complete six core adventures with their den and at least one (or more) elective adventures with their family or with their den.

Summary:  As Scouts complete adventures, they will be presented with adventure loops at the next pack meeting or an upcoming den meeting.

Learn about the Advancement Trail

All incoming Scouts must complete the Bobcat Badge
before advancing to the rank of Bear.

Den meetings are planned and run by an adult den leader with the help of an assistant den leader and Boy Scout den chief. Den meeting activities are planned around the monthly theme and include playing games, making handicrafts, taking hikes, learning about a wide variety of topics, camping, day trips, various outdoor fun and MUCH MORE! Parent participation is required (some activities during den meetings are one on one with your child), and some parents will be asked to volunteer to help lead den meetings and outings.
